Background

Cranleigh STEM has partnered with BioChek UK for over 8 years, acting as embedded talent partner for over half of that time. We have supported the company’s continued growth and evolution from a small laboratory operation in West London with fewer than 10 employees, to an established site in Ascot and now their move to a modern, state-of-the-art purpose-built facility in Bracknell.

Challenge

In early 2021, BioChek UK identified the need for a more structured and scalable recruitment process to support rapid business growth across multiple departments. With no dedicated internal HR function in place at the time, the business required a strategic recruitment partner capable of managing high-volume hiring while maintaining quality and efficiency. Now, the company have an established HR team using our ATS system TeamTailor to help further streamline recruitment.

Cranleigh STEM was appointed as BioChek UK's exclusive recruitment partner under an Embedded Recruitment Solution agreement, taking ownership of the company’s end-to-end hiring activity.
