Job Title: R&D Chemist
Location: Lancashire
Salary: £40,000 - £43,00
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:15

What we're looking for:
Essentials
- Graduate degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Solid background in materials testing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels of an organisation
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider R&D team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated with a proactive and driven approach
Desirable
- PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience developing test methods
- Experience with statistical analysis
