Job Title: R&D Chemist

Location: Lancashire

Salary: £40,000 - £43,00

Contract: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:15

What we're looking for:

Essentials

  • Graduate degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Solid background in materials testing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels of an organisation
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider R&D team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and driven approach

Desirable

  • PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience developing test methods
  • Experience with statistical analysis
