The plant runs 24/7 so some flexibility in working hours is required, time off in lieu can be accrued. This is a 40-hour week, typically 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Senior Quality Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site-wide quality assurance and quality system compliance to AS9100 / ISO9001.
- Manage internal and external audits (customer / certification body) and drive continuous improvement actions.
- Lead root cause investigations (8D / 5 Why / Fishbone) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage supplier quality issues and non-conformances.
- Deputise for the Quality Manager when required across audits, reporting, change management and NPI reviews.
Senior Quality Engineer
Key Requirements
- HNC or higher in Engineering, Quality or a related technical field.
- Proven Quality Engineering experience in aerospace and/or automotive.
- Trained Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor (AS9100 and/or ISO9001).
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (SPC, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, 8D).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with ability to influence and drive improvement.
